About me
I'm 27 years old, and I live in Middlesbrough, England. I'm a web applications developer by day, DJ by night.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming and I am also a Professional Member of BCS, The
Chartered Institute for IT. I have been actively working in the industry since 2001.
My true love with music is the big, beaty, noisy electro side of things, especially things from Soulwax, Alex Metric, Fake Blood,
Boys Noize, etc. I also love a good bit of indie, house (especially Daft Punk!), pop, hip-hop, funk, soul, IDM (especially Boards
of Canada!), trance, and everything in between.
I like making things that people can get excited about, be it shiny things to use on their computer, or things to jump around
to on the dancefloor.
Have a project you're excited about? Get me involved, and you'll have your customers excited about it too.
What I do
I'm Chief Technology Officer at Rocket Dog Creative, and I also founded
the File Sanctuary hosting, domain registration, and cloud backup service. I build web applications,
I set up servers for those applications to run on, I maintain those servers, I run servers that you can put your own sites and
apps on, I provide top-notch technical support and consulting services for all of the above, I... well you get the idea.
I’m basically a human Swiss Army Knife capable of full app lifecycle support, from planning to post-launch maintenance, and I
also offer great plain-English consultancy services. Chances are that if you need something even remotely related to computers,
mobile devices or the Internet, I can help.
I am also a DJ at various nightclubs in and around the Middlesbrough area, having played at many venues over the years including:
The Empire, The Arena, The Crown, Onyx, The Terrace, Blu, Basement and more.
